Dr David Wyvon, of the Swedish Institute of building Research, concluded that temperature is a major factor affecting
employee performance within the workplace.
Using the research of Dr Wyvon and others, temperature rises above 27°C, (which is not unusual in a non-air-conditioned
building in summer) can cause a drop in productivity of around 40%.
Also worth noting, a survey conducted by the magazine "Planning Shop" indicated that over 75% of companies
operating air-conditioning systems feel that staff make fewer mistakes as a result.
At Cool-Air Technology, we specialise in close control and comfort cooling. We supply, install and maintain a
comprehensive range of Air-conditioners, from portable units to large industrial units.
We also supply a wide range of De-humidifiers and humidifiers, where constant humidity in the building is essential.
These are used when close control air-conditioning is required, e.g. laboratories, computer rooms, hospitals or
calibration services. We will design and install the systrem to meet with your requirements from surveying to
commissioning.
